FAQs
Firstly, we recommend scheduling your shoot towards the beginning of your trip to be safe.
That said, we have been professional photographers in Hawaii for almost a decade and have only had a handful of shoots rained out. In Hawaii the weather is very transient. Often times, rain lasts for 5-10 minutes then moves along. If there’s a fluke event that makes shooting impossible, we can reschedule for no extra charge.
There are so many great locations for photoshoots on Oahu. Our personal favorite is Lanikai beach for sunrise or mid morning (it’s consistently been rated in the top 10 beaches in the world)! But if you want to see our full list of recommendations, you can see our post HERE .
Please send us an email at info@alohadreamsphotography.com. Please note, for the safety of our photographers, we do not provide shoots at private homes or airbnbs. If you have a public location you’d like to shoot at though, let us know and we can accommodate.
If you are doing a beach session, typically whites, teals, neutrals, and blues look really great. Although we are in Hawaii, we do recommend staying away from busy aloha shirts or stripes as it can often look busy. Ultimately it’s totally up to you!
Absolutely! just keep in mind that many locations on Oahu don’t have immediate access to public restrooms. We do have a popup changing tent available for your convenience.
You can receive a full refund on your deposit up to 24 hrs before the day of the shoot. If the cancellation occurs within 24 hrs, unfortunately we will be unable to refund your deposit.
